1. OUR ANTI-AGING FRIEND, GLYCOLIC ACID. Use a face wash with glycolic acid such as Glymeds Gentle face wash. The glycolic acid gives daily exfoliation; minimizing breakouts, the leather look, and slows the natural aging process.2. SPF; A MUST. Wear sunblock every morning! The sun speeds aging and aggravates the skin. It also causes unsightly brown spots and little red broken vessels. This can all be avoided with a little daily SPF usage.
3. MOISTURIZE! Many people experience skin dryness and dehydration because they are not using a GOOD moisturizer. By good, I mean one with peptides, hyloronic acid, vitamins and minerals to hold moisture in and replenish the skin cells.
4. AM & PM. Have a set regimen of professional skin products that you use every morning and night. Our skin doesn't fix itself over night, so sticking to the right products for the right time will make a big difference! If you're young, start now; all skin is aging skin, the sooner you start the better you'll look when you're 50!
5. EAT YOUR FRUITS & VEGGIES. We all know free radicals are a bad thing. Antioxidants neutralize harmful free radicals in our bodies and in our skin. Replenish your skin by eating foods high in antioxidants such as fruits and veggies. Also, drink lots of water; at least eight glasses a day.
